Tuesday, November 1




Philosophers A.C. Gruyling and Raymond Geuss of Oxford and Cambridge, respectively describe some big ideas succinctly:

Gruyling – It is not what life can do for you, but what you put into making life yours; and

Geuss – Life tends to not conform to our expectations because we have never stopped to analyze why and where our expectations came from.  Maybe they should be adjusted rather than being tormented that life will not shape itself to our image of it.
